Logo Design for
Apex Gymnastics
When the owner of Apex Gymnastics moved here from Ukraine to open a gym, all she had was a simple logo with a hand drawn star she created herself. This served as her logo for several years.
With success came an interest in a new logo for the growing gym and gymnastics team. The owner hired a designer and this was her new logo.
The new logo didn’t fit
She just wasn’t happy that this new logo did not represent her gym and her gymnastics team. I took on the project to give her a logo that would fit her vision. She knew she wanted to keep a star as the main feature of the logo, and she was certain on the color purple, but not exactly which shade just yet. She wanted her new logo to show strength and have a sense of movement.

This is the final design that won the owner over. It now grandly adorns the gym walls, is in glitter fashion across the back of warm-ups, and proudly displayed on many of t-shirts worn by coaches, students, and fans alike.
